Eight new images …

Owe a tremendous debt to Mr. Grant Waters, who has researched Annie’s works himself and drawn my attention to a resource I was unaware of, the publication Royal Academy Illustrated. I’d come across a single copy recently, but never realised it was a regularly published. (There are a few copies at archive.org, but none happen to be Annie/Joseph years.)

Grant has access to a large number of issues and has forwarded the following images, as well as other information. It’ll take me a while to work all of this properly into the web site, but here’s a taster:
