WEB SITE UPDATED.

The whole ‘www.annielouisaswynnerton.com’ web site has been updated – it needed a good tidying and improvement in consistency of presentation. I hope users find it easy to navigate – do inform me of any errors or faulty links you come across.

It does mean that many ‘likes’ and comments have been lost with conversion of the old blog-format to proper web pages, but I’ve incorporated special comments into web page texts with acknowledgements.

There’ll still be occasional tweeking of pages, particularly the updating of the exhibited works page, and I’ll still post when new findings are made. Needless to say, I’ve given up ‘retiring’ from the site, interesting developments just keep happening. About twice a year something tends to appear at auction or an owner contacts the site out of the blue – looking forward to the next revelation …

Best wishes to all, Jonathan.

    1. Not really work, of course, a hobby. Took several weeks, most evenings, but really needed doing. A couple of years after starting the site the host, WordPress, changed their editing system, meaning there were two different styles of page, plus a mixture of blogs-style and straight web pages describing works, so a bit of a hodge-podge. Enjoyed slimming it down to a mere 200-odd pages from the four or five hundred it had become. I’ll be forever rainy-day-tinkering with it, but have the luxury of being able to leave things aside now and enjoy the occasional emails arriving from site visitors or auction bots. The Swinnerton Society site looks very neat – nice work.
