Note: there are three ‘Sabine/Tusculum’ paintings by Annie known. A distant view of the Sabines (exhibited Manchester 1923 and Royal Academy 1933), The Sabine mountains from Tusculum (this work) and The view from Tusculum towards Rome (no image known, exhibited at the Royal Academy in 1927).
