A previously unrecorded painting by Annie is for sale by auction at Mallams, Oxford, 26 May, titled ‘Blue Seascape.’
That Annie had painted seascapes is known from the posthumous studio sale catalogue of 1934, lot 101, “STUDIES OF FOLIAGE, SEASCAPES, ETC,” but this is the only example known.

A label on the back refers to the picture having been included in an exhibition, ‘A Painter’s Choice,’ arranged by the ‘Art Exhibitions Bureau,’ Suffolk Street, Pall Mall (a street just to the north-west of Trafalgar Square, London), which was also the case for her ‘A study of hands.’
