A rare as Annie’s works are in the auction rooms, the works of her life-long friend and companion Isabel are rarer. I’ve only ever found twenty-six images of her paintings, whereas there are just over one-hundred for Annie.
A new piece has appeared for auction at Tennants, Leyburn, North Yorkshire, ‘Choir of Children,’ dated 1888. The auction date is 16 November.
