VISITED the Musée d’Orsay, Paris, in March, hoping to see Annie’s Mater Triumphalis, but unfortunately it was not on display.

It is a well traveled work, having been exhibited historically in London, Manchester, Chicago and various Paris galleries.

BY COINCIDENCE, came across a postcard recently of this work, published by the Musée du Luxembourg, c. 1920.
