Portrait of Susan Isabel Dacre by Francis Dodd.

Anyone familiar with Annie Swynnerton will also be aware of her close friend Susan Isabel Dacre, also a fine artist. The two met at Manchester School of Art when they were in their twenties and remained life-long friends. A portrait of Susan, painted when she was in her mid-eighties by Francis Dodd has just appeared for sale at Richard Taylor Fine Arts.
